چکیده

In this work, we presented a radio-over-fiber (ROF) access network through two modulation stages for the generation of multiple millimeter wave (mm-wave) signals with frequencies 20, 40, 60 and 80 GHz transmission rate 10 Gbps as function variation link distance signal power. The specific purpose paper was to design investigate RoF system based on mm-wave in order implement simple effective system. stage 1, there are modulators parallel (MZMa MZMb) called dual-parallel Mach–Zehnder modulator (DP-MZM) 2 is only one (MZMd), connected three pulse generators: Non-Return-to-Zero (NRZ), Return-to-Zero (RZ) Gaussian, which were selected individually each simulation optisystem software. A single-mode fiber (SMF) optical filter Gaussian (GOF) an erbium-doped amplifier (EDFA) also used send base stations (BSs). numerical analyzes results eye diagrams showed excellent bit error (BER) quality factor (Q-factor) values, proved good performance proposed RoF- DP-MZM system, encoding formats used, able generate 3-tupling wireless accesses.

Millimeter-wave Radio over Fiber System for Broadband Wireless Communication

The wireless networking has attracted much interest in past decades, owing to its high mobility. People can connect their devices such as PDAs, mobile phones or computers to a network by radio signals anywhere in home, garden or office without the need for wires. The global growth of mobile subscribers is much faster than wireline ones, as the Figure 1 shows (Yungsoo et al., 2003). The number o...

146-GHz millimeter-wave radio-over-fiber photonic wireless transmission system.

We report the experimental implementation of a wireless transmission system with a 146-GHz carrier frequency which is generated by optical heterodyning the two modes from a monolithically integrated quantum dash dual-DFB source. The monolithic structure of the device and the inherent low noise characteristics of quantum dash gain material allow us to demonstrate the transmission of a 1 Gbps ON-...

A Full-Duplex, Dual-Polarization 10Gbps Radio over Fiber system with wavelength reuse for upstream signal

This study presents a full-duplex Radio-over-Fiber (RoF) system providing the users' wireless access with a bit rate of 10 Gbps over 40 GHz radio carrier. This system can be used in a centralized radio access network (C-RAN) architecture because we provide a fully analog front haul link between central station and base station. We can consider it as infrastructure between remote radio heads (RR...
